Dare to duplicate greatness.

We figured what better way to introduce our brand spanking new website than with a mixtape comprised of all remakes (or covers, if you’re into using industry terms). Some of these are as good (if not better than) the originals. Some of them are just weird.

We kick things off with Social Distortion to make sure your speakers are working. From there the west coast indie band Rare Monk does an intense cover of a Bill Withers classic followed by a Hall and Oates cover that is somehow more fun than the original. Then we have David Bowie (R.I.P) covering Lou Reed from the BBC sessions followed by Nirvana covering David Bowie. There are Taylor Swift covers, Miley Cyrus doing covers and much much more.

By the time you get to the jazz interpretations of Nas and Ol’ Dirty Bastard you’ll realize we aren’t joking around here.

We hope you enjoy.
